Run Run Rudolph 5K

The Rudolph Run is on hold this year so we can focus on our newest event, the Wisconsin Winter Fest.

Every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving, thousands of people flock to Main Street in downtown Sun Prairie to witness the amazing parade of fire trucks decorated in Christmas lights as they make their way towards the town Christmas Tree. When Santa's "sleigh" arrives, Santa climbs up the ladder and lights the Christmas Tree.

This year, you will be able to help Santa make his way down Main Street by joining the Run, Run Rudolph 5K. Runners will line up in the heart of downtown and will run a beautiful 5K course through various parts of Sun Prairie before ending up where they started. The fire trucks will follow the runners. Runners are encouraged to wear flashing lights, blinking Rudolph noses or other Holiday themed costumes.

There will be cookies, warm cider and Christmas music. There will be prizes for the top 10 male and female finishers in two age splits, under 15 and over 15.
